Natural Fruit Masks

Hey Guys,  since I made a video my inexpensive skin care routine I decided to write about other Beauty secrets from your Kitchen. There are so many products from your kitchen that are amazing for you skin, like fruits and vegetables. Here are a couple of Fruits and Vegetables that I used as Skin Masks:




Tomato
The Tomato as a mask is ideal for Oily skin. This is what you do:

• Mash up a ripe tomato
• Apply it to your skin
• Let it set for about 20 minutes
• Wash with warm water

Banana

The banana is such an amazing Moisturizer making it ideal for dry skin. Add a little bit of honey and it becomes a great firming mask. This is what you do:

• Mash a ripe bana
• Add a little bit of honey
• Gently apply an even layer of the mask
• Let it dry 
• Wash off with warm water

Cucumbers

The Cucumber, as a pulp, is a great mask for clogged pores and oily skin. This is what you do:

• Mash the cucumber to make a soft pulp
• Apply it to the skin
• Let stay for about 15 minutes
• Wash off with warm water

Papaya (If you are allergic to Latex then avoid this mask)

This powerful Fruit contains Vitamin C and Vitamin E. Papaya also contain an enzyme called papain that helps  exfoliating the skin, overcoming allergies,  killing bacteria and fungus and even dissolving scar tissue. This is what you do:

• Cut the Papaya in half 
• Remove the skin 
• Scoop out the seeds with a spoon
• Mash it up into a pulp
• Apply it to the skin
• Leave it for about 15 minutes
• Wash off with warm water

Peach

Peach is my favorite fruit. I love the way they smell. Did you know in Feng Shui,  peaches are a sign of wealth, health and prosperity? I make sure always have peaches in my house but for some reason they are always gone 2 days after I buy them :x. Peach mask are great for firming the skin! This is what you do:

• Peal a ripe peach 
• Cut it in half remove the seed
• Mash it up 
• Add a spoon of yogurt and a tablespoon of Brandy (if you have brandy if not, that's okay)
• Mix and apply it to your skin 
• Leave it on for about 20 minutes
• And rinse off

And that's it! Some Fruits and Vegetables that make amazing masks. You don't need to go to a spa for great skin, you have all the products at home!

The Inexpensive Skin Care

Say YES! to Inexpensive Skin Care!

I've been meaning to write about this for a while. About a year ago I encountered Japanese 3d nail art and I was so amazed by how creative these designs were. I mean, they were pieces of art for your nails:3 When I first tried them, I thought that they were going to be really uncomfortable, but you do get used to having them. After a couple of days I didn't even notice I had them. It almost feels like that first time you try gel or acrylic nails except they look much cuter! Generally with a little care the nails will last 2-3 weeks. But I was actually able to wear them up to 4 weeks! Like I said a little bit of care goes a long way.

There are two websites I love to visit when I'm picking out 3D Nails.
Yukiumi Nails  and Bling up. If you are a first timer then I really recommend that you try Yukiumi Nails. Yukiumi's nails are more simple and a little cheaper than Bling up. You really want to see if you like them before fully investing in a set of 3D nails. Both websites include a nail kit with nail glue, a file and a repair kit (replacement gems, etc). Yukiumi nails also include a buffer/shiner and a wooden stick(for applying the gems) while Bling up includes 10 pieces of Professional double-sided nail tape for each nail set. Regardless, whatever website you choose, you will be satisfied^-^

Be your own Fantasy Character

Fantasy makeup has always been my favorite type of makeup

I'm a gamer at heart and love RPGs. So I decided I wanted to make a character inspired by games like Final Fantasy. My goal here was to mimic a fantasy character's facial structure by enlarging the eye area and contouring the face.
I'm not going to lie, this makeup took forever! But then again, it was partially because when you're filming you have to show what your doing and sometimes I'd get so into doing the makeup that I would forget. I ended up re-filming a couple of steps. In total I took me a little more than an hour and a half to do. Don't get discouraged!! This look is so worth it. My camera gives it no justice!

By the way, I didn't add subtitles to this videos because it's a very subjective video. You can choose to skip or even add your own steps.

As to the glue, I filmed at my friends house who lives an hour away. When I got home the flowers were intact! The silk flowers are so light that the glue was able to support it. I salute you Elmer's glue stick!

Have you ever wanted to escape?

Put on a mask just to see life a different way?

 I remember when I was younger. I remember sitting in front of the TV watching Sailor Moon. It didn't matter how tough the day had been as long as I got home to watch Usagi battle evil and end up in Tuxedo Mask's arms. I was bullied when I was younger. I never understood why, it was always something different. "I was too tall, my hair was too curly, I was too thin, I was too fat." Sometimes it got so bad that all I wanted to do was to transform into a Sailor Scout. 

There is something really magical about putting on a cape, a mask, a wig, a costume. As you slip into someone else's skin you are reborn. You have a new life. Those people that hurt you don't matter anymore. 

That is how I started dancing. 

I've been dancing ever since I can remember.While I danced, acted and sang, my room turned into whatever I wanted. I could be in a castle or two seconds later in outer space. I could even travel through time! I still dance to this day:3

There is nothing wrong with wanting to escape reality. Sometimes we need it, because when we come back things seem a little more magical than usual. You are more confident and for some reason you can now solve that problem you've been working on forever.

 It's in that spirit that I filmed my new tutorial. I should upload it tomorrow afternoon. I'll give you a hint: You can be any super hero you want without buying a mask;)

being your own super hero is much better. This way, you can write your own story with your own rules. If you are reading this, know that your book is the most amazing story, I'd be very lucky if I ever got to read it.

Never give up on your dreams

I'm laying on my bed wondering what will be my next tutorials... I have so many ideas, so many concepts.But as I browse through the internet for inspiration I see a lot of new youtubers getting stressed over the fact that they don't have as many views as they would like to have

To them all I have to say is: Never give up. If that is you dream then please... don't give up on it. If you do, you are only giving up on yourself. Now you are probably wondering "why does she care, she doesn't even know me". You and I have many things in common, we are more similar than we are different. We both feel, we both breath, we both want to achieve something that we were  always told was impossible. So, if I never give up you shouldn't either. Even if I don't know who you are, know that I will keep moving on just to show you that you can too.

I wish there was I way for everyone's dreams to get noticed, because no matter how silly they might sound to others they are important and they are beautiful.

Tarte Smooth Operator

I really want to talk about the Tarte Smooth Operator Concealer. A couple of weeks ago, I was at Sephora looking to buy the Amazing Concealer but then I met Tarte's Smooth Operator my current favorite concealer waterproof concealer with Amazonian clay.

If you have a Tarte product you are holding a piece on the amazon river, how cool is that!?

Amazonian clay comes from the nutrient-rich basin of the Amazon River. As the river travels for 4,000 miles, it collects various minerals from plants and food matter where they gather at the basin. The sun naturally bakes the clay, locking the nutrients in place.

Later the clay is shaved into a fine a powder and mixed to make the Tarte products.

Amazonian clay is "a nutrient-rich, multitasking and total-skin-balancing clay that reduces dryness and flakiness, improves skin clarity, elasticity, firmness, and texture while removing oil from the skin's surface for smooth application and wear; Vitamin E, a natural preservative that also acts as an anti-inflammatory emollient and protects against free radical damage; and mineral pigments known to soothe and soften the skin." I have really sensitive skin and so far the concealer has proved to work with my skin. i doesn't feel heavy at all and it's cheaper than the Amazing Concealer providing the same full-coverage. At the end of the day I remove my makeup and my blemishes have diminished much like the redness. This concealer has worked so well that I barely use foundation anymore. 

If you're still Skeptical go to Sephora and give it a try:) You wont be disappointed

Today is one of those days where you don't want to do anything. We all need a day where we don't do anything. A day to take a brake from life's daily stress. Sometimes we all need the lazy day. But how can you fully relax if you are constantly worrying about how you look? This video tutorial is perfect for the lazy day because it allows that freedom. It's a super easy look that will last for however long you want it to last. You can take a nap, wake up and still look amazing. This is mostly due to the fact that there is no foundation in this tutorial. Instead, I used a water proof concealer that will conceal blemishes while treating them. It wont stain your pillow cases!

I love this look. It is simple, elegant and it emphasizes your natural beauty.

Pretty in Zombie?

Pretty Zombie Make-up Time!
It's almost Halloween and you're probably wondering what costume you're going to wear, or what character you want to be. Classic monsters are always a good choice because they are timeless, but maybe you want something a little less scary and easy to replicate.

This tutorial will show you how you can turn into a pretty and cute zombie while still looking a little scary. This look is toned down but it's actually pretty medically accurate. 

I used this look last Halloween and it lasted for so long!
