Natural Fruit Masks

Hey Guys,  since I made a video my inexpensive skin care routine I decided to write about other Beauty secrets from your Kitchen. There are so many products from your kitchen that are amazing for you skin, like fruits and vegetables. Here are a couple of Fruits and Vegetables that I used as Skin Masks:




Tomato
The Tomato as a mask is ideal for Oily skin. This is what you do:

  • Mash up a ripe tomato
  • Apply it to your skin
  • Let it set for about 20 minutes
  • Wash with warm water
Banana
The banana is such an amazing Moisturizer making it ideal for dry skin. Add a little bit of honey and it becomes a great firming mask. This is what you do:
  • Mash a ripe bana
  • Add a little bit of honey
  • Gently apply an even layer of the mask
  • Let it dry 
  • Wash off with warm water
Cucumbers
The Cucumber, as a pulp, is a great mask for clogged pores and oily skin. This is what you do:
  • Mash the cucumber to make a soft pulp
  • Apply it to the skin
  • Let stay for about 15 minutes
  • Wash off with warm water
Papaya (If you are allergic to Latex then avoid this mask)
This powerful Fruit contains Vitamin C and Vitamin E. Papaya also contain an enzyme called papain that helps  exfoliating the skin, overcoming allergies,  killing bacteria and fungus and even dissolving scar tissue. This is what you do:

  • Cut the Papaya in half 
  • Remove the skin 
  • Scoop out the seeds with a spoon
  • Mash it up into a pulp
  • Apply it to the skin
  • Leave it for about 15 minutes
  • Wash off with warm water
Peach
Peach is my favorite fruit. I love the way they smell. Did you know in Feng Shui,  peaches are a sign of wealth, health and prosperity? I make sure always have peaches in my house but for some reason they are always gone 2 days after I buy them :x. Peach mask are great for firming the skin! This is what you do:
  • Peal a ripe peach 
  • Cut it in half remove the seed
  • Mash it up 
  • Add a spoon of yogurt and a tablespoon of Brandy (if you have brandy if not, that's okay)
  • Mix and apply it to your skin 
  • Leave it on for about 20 minutes
  • And rinse off
And that's it! Some Fruits and Vegetables that make amazing masks. You don't need to go to a spa for great skin, you have all the products at home!
